Study to the sound of a sonata
Calming music helps you work - or does it? An experiment involving twenty individuals set them the task of solving a visual puzzle under two different conditions, some listening to Mozart’s sonata K. 448, and others with no music.
The participant's brain activity was measured during the task. Those listening to the music showed significantly greater mental stimulation than those without.
