Dancers On Heat Earn Big
By Mark Steer
Lap dancers who take the Pill are endangering their wallets, says new research, because men prefer more fertile women. A study carried out in New Mexico discovered that erotic dancers can earn almost twice as much money during their peak period of fertility compared to when they are menstruating.A dancer in full fertile flight netted around $350 (£175) per shift on average, but earnings dropped to $185 (£95) per shift during menstruation. However, their colleagues who use the Pill show only small changes in earnings over the month, staying pretty much at the base menstruation level.
It is thought that using the Pill gives off pheromones similar to those exuded by women in the initial stages of pregnancy, which makes them less attractive, whereas women in oestrus find it much easier to excite men into parting with their cash.
It's no yet clear how the mechanisms work, fertile women might dress and dance more provocatively or give off more sex pheromones.
