I studied Environmental Science at Brighton and then not feeling ready to face the real world I pursued my anorak passion for rivers and did a MSc in Environmental Water Management at Cranfield Uni. Unfortunately then finding myself no longer a student, I was cruelly thrown kicking and screaming into the real world.
Well I survived and a couple of years later here I am working in flood risk management in Bristol and Somerset. I have now begun dabbling in writing, in the hope that one day I’ll be a highly successful environment journalist.
By spreading the good word of all things scientific I’d like to give the people of the world a good kick up the arse to make them appreciate the astounding world they live in. But I’m sure providing a humble bit of informative light entertainment is just as worthwhile!
